My Favorite Football Decor for the College Football Season

Football decor for home tailgating

Share

As many of you know, I’m a sports business reporter in my other life, so it probably comes as no surprise that I have amassed some football decor for the fall. I’ve been writing about the business of sports for more than a decade now, and I left my law practice in 2011 to become ESPN’s sports business reporter. I continue to report for outlets such as Forbes, ESPN and more.

The first book I published was on the business of college football (and it’s the main reason why I needed to create this pen name). College football is a huge part of my life, and I usually spend every weekend during football season at a different campus. Obviously, this year is going to be a little different.

Although I can’t replace being in the stadium on game day, I can go all out decorating my house and setting up for a little home tailgating!

My Favorite College Football Decor

I rounded up some of my favorites over on my Business of College Sports website today, and I wanted to share them here too because I know many of you love football season as much as me!

If anything is team specific, it’s available for multiple teams.

I’d love to see your home tailgating photos! Tag me on Instagram: @SavvyCarlisle.

XOXO

Lizzy, one of our three cats, inspired the name for one of the bookstore cats in my debut out with @harpethroad next May.
In the book, I say her name is inspired by Elizabeth Bennett, but in real life, it's taken from @tinlizzyscantina restaurant in Atlanta where hubby and I had our first date. ♥️

Logan Lancaster needs his waterfront development plan to be a success to save his career. Bookstore owner Lucy Sullivan needs to defeat him to preserve her small beach town. Little do they know they're falling in love with each other through anonymous notes in a Little Free Library. When they find out the truth, will they compromise what they thought mattered most or their chance at love?
If you liked You've Got Mail, I think you'll love Lucy and Logan's story! 💌
