Coastal Christmas Décor for 2022

Coastal Christmas decor header

It’s possible I’ve never written a post that’s more me. Two of my favorite things in the world are the beach and the holiday season. After all, I was born five days before Christmas, and I live on an island. So, not surprisingly, I’m all about coastal Christmas décor!

Whether you want a key piece or two to remind you of your love affair with the coast or you want to go full on coastal Christmas, I’ve scoured the internet to find the perfect pieces.

Coastal Christmas Ornaments

Whether you’re going all out with a tree decked from floor to ceiling in coastal Christmas ornaments or just looking for a few to signify your love of the beachy life, there are so many fun options!

I have a real thing for seahorses, so I love this set of seahorse Christmas ornaments. I’m also totally swooning over these blue and white handmade oyster shell ornaments, and if you know me…you know I love teal!…so these rustic wooden ornaments in teal with starfish and sand dollars are a big winner for me.

Don’t want to piece it all together one by one? Check out this 54-141-piece coastal Christmas tree kit, complete with ornaments, ribbons and sprays! It’s basically a beach-themed Christmas tree in a box. Or this 85-piece one at Target.

Need a tree skirt? I love this sea turtle coastal Christmas tree skirt.

Don’t forget the perfect starfish Christmas tree topper!

Coastal Christmas Decor Ideas

If you’re looking for some smaller items to spruce up an entry table or bookshelf, or maybe you’re ready to swag out your mantle and decorate your table, there are plenty of options. From nutcrackers to pillows and everything in between, you can take the coastal Christmas theme as far as you want!

I picked out this fun letter from Santa “Gone to the Beach” pillow last year when I was putting together my blue Christmas pillows post.

Coastal Christmas Outdoor and Door Decorations

If you want your home to have that coastal Christmas vibe, it starts outside. From wreaths to doormats to yard statues and LED light displays, there are some great ways to greet your guest before they even walk inside.

One of my neighbors has this Christmas dolphin leaping out and back into the water, and I found there’s even an orca whale version!

Of course, my love of flamingos makes me partial to this one!

From fun doormats to wreaths, there’s plenty to choose from even if you’re only looking to decorate your front door.

Don’t miss my other post on all the blue Christmas pillows I found!

XOXO

I'm currently in my happy place: Breckenridge, Colorado! This week, I'm probably doing more writing than reading, but I might start an ARC I have from a favorite author.

What's your favorite type of spring vacation? Any particular destination?

And what book are you packing?

Loved getting to experience The House That Built Me live. ♥️ The first novel I finished writing is based on that song. I'm currently editing it in the hopes of getting it published after writing a second novel and feeling like it was the stronger one to query to agents and publishers.

Experiencing the entire crowd last night sing along with Miranda, I'm reenergized to edit and find a home for this book. I've wanted to write a book based on that song since I first heard it, and I'm not ready to give up on it!

Also...she might have another song I now feel compelled to turn into a book! 😉

I spent yesterday in Connecticut filming with the crew from Nightline for their weekly show IMPACT x Nightline on Hulu. 🎥 For those who follow college sports, we were talking about the evolution of name, image and likeness rights for student athletes.

My episode will drop next Wednesday, March 30th on Hulu!

Until then...I'm off to Vegas for Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert for my bestie's birthday! 🎲

Twelve years ago, I started a sports business blog on a free little WordPress site. Tomorrow, I'm filming with ABC for Nightline's weekly Hulu show IMPACT x Nightline!

I never imagined my little writing hobby would take me away from practicing corporate law to being a national sports business reporter, published nonfiction author and hopefully soon-to-be fiction author! ♥️

Dream big, my friends. ✨ I'm rooting for you!!
What's your favorite romance trope?? I ♥️ wri What's your favorite romance trope??

I ♥️ writing enemies to lovers, because I love the snappy back and forth between the characters.

The MS I just finished querying, Summer by the Book, has enemies to lovers and secret identity because it's a new take on You've Got Mail. 💌 I love how Lucy and Logan spar with one another in real life while they're falling in love via anonymous notes left in a Little Free Library.

What about you? What's your favorite to read or write?
